Decommissioning a computer:
Before decommissioning or formatting a computer you should extract the keys, which are valuable to the group. We have paid for this software and will have more money for students if we don't have to spend it on software.
1) Install Magic Jelly Bean Key Finder
2) Run the program and print out an .xps file with the name of the computer and the word "_keys.xps". (i.e. BowersGroupPC_keys.xps)
3) Print this for your records if necessary and/or email it to bowers-admin@ece.ucsb.edu so the group has a record.
4) Fill out the survey and make sure you state that the computer has been decommissioned in the notes.
